Traditionally used as a numbing agent when experiencing dental pain, teething, gum inflammation or sore throat
Stimulates digestion and reduces gas and bloating
Supportive in formulas for respiratory / digestive infection
Preferred Preparations: infusion, glycerine / tincture
Taste: slightly sweet and very astringent
Contraindications: not for internal use during pregnancy or while breastfeeding, nor for children under 10. Not for those with digestive ulcers, acid reflux, or with compromised kidney function.
