Herbal Action: alterative, anthelmintic, anti fungal, anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, bitter tonic, lymphatic

Indications:

  • Stimulates the release of bile and pancreatic enzymes to improve digestion and liver detoxification, balance blood sugar and for recovery after digestive infections

  • A potent antiseptic useful internally for candida, respiratory or digestive infections and topically on staph infections or infected wounds

Preferred Preparations: decoction, tincture

Taste: bitter + astringent

Contraindications: not for use during pregnancy or while breastfeeding, nor for children under 2 or with gallbladder obstructions. Limit use over 65 or with chronic conditions.
